International Garden Festival's First Day

International Garden Festival's First Day
First Day of the 26th Edition of the International Garden Festival - Borders

The International Garden Festival is proud to invite you to its first opening day on June 21. Throughout the summer, the International Garden Festival invites you to reflect on Borders — those that divide our landscapes, of course, but also the more subtle ones shaped by our complex social constructs.

Program
  • Lecture - Bilingual
Lecture in tribute to landscape architect Claude Cormier (1960–2023) and his legacy, revisited through the evolution of Blue Stick Garden — originally created in 2000 for the first edition of the Festival — and its transformation into the Blue Stick Forest. A reflection of Cormier’s avant-garde vision, the garden continues to embody the spirit of the firm he founded, CCxA (formerly Claude Cormier et Associés).
    10:30 a.m.
At the Aire Desjardins of the Great Hall
  • Presentation of the 2025 installations in the presence of the designers
    1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
On the site of the International Garden Festival
