What did people bring in their suitcases when they spent the summer in Métis-sur-Mer and at Estevan Lodge until the 1960s, places where social constraints meant changing clothes depending on the time of day and the activity being practiced? Was there a difference in the contents of people's trunks depending on their destination?

These are questions that run through the exhibition.

A Wardrobe of Memories, where accessories and clothing from private collections and those of Les Amis des Jardins de Métis interact to bring to life the heyday of these two places... and tell some memories.
