As part of the Exotic. Dreaming a Plant World exhibition, this presentation invites visitors to discover the rich textile potential of several native and exotic plants. Linen and hemp will be displayed alongside mushrooms and cacti, as well as the little-known world of marine algae, which, while not plants, are interesting resources to develop.
It invites visitors to look at the botanical world differently, to reflect on the environment and the responsible use that can be made of it.
► Come solve this mystery through the historic gardens, where several plants have their say.
The Reford Gardens have been burglarized. A unique plant in the horticultural world, the black orchid they held was stolen. The terrarium where it was displayed was found empty. The animation team was questioned: had no one admired it for a longer time or inquired about growing it in the last few days?
