For the 25th edition of the Literary Teas, 6 meetings with 11 great voices of literature in Quebec and the musicians who will accompany them are offered to the population from June 21 to September 14 at the Jardins de Métis

This meeting will allow us to better discover the world of Éric Chacour, his literary inspirations, his relationship with writing and his fascinations, including the fantastical Egypt of his parents. Since the publication of his first novel, he has been awarded numerous prizes, including: the Prix France-Québec 2024, the Prix des cinq continents de la Francophonie and the Prix des Libraires de France 2024.

The public is also invited to discover the literary exhibition "Fleuve en mémoire" (River in Memory), produced by the CLAC in collaboration with the Laboratoire Onirique at UQAR. Visitors will be able to discover the spoken word and sound poetry created by artists Élise Argouarc'h and Olivier Garot in the form of a sound work by Guillaume Lévesque. These narratives will be presented alongside visual works in mixed media and collages by artist Luce Dumont.
"Fleuve en mémoire" (River in Memory) will be presented from June 29 to October 5 in the "Pré fleuri" (Meadow) of the Jardins de Métis and at the Maison de la culture du Château Landry.
